“ SW Steakhouse is fantastic, the food is cooked to perfection, the staff are friendly, professional and exactly what you expect from a high end restaurant, it's not cheap, but you know that if you're booked in here, and you will get every part of that high end dining experience when you come here. The portion sizes are very much American standard so if you're not used to that, you will be taking home left overs, and that seems to be a common occurrence at least we saw that with people leaving with Wynn branded bags from the restaurant. Overall it was a great experience and next time we're in Vegas I'm sure we'll return. ”

Split the crab cake between two people and revel in the lightly battered exterior that supports the substantial crab meat within (and then use the bread again as a utensil to further its aioli). The American wagyu steak was cooked perfectly and split between my wife and me. It wasn't as buttery, melt-in-your-mouth decadent as its Japanese counterpart, but certainly no regrets. The table-side-prepared banana foster cheesecake brought smiles and sinful pleasure. Maybe a smidge too boozy, the rich flavors surprised what - at first glance - appeared to be too sweet a dish. Would highly recommend. We had a reservation right at opening service (5 PM PT). The restaurant wasn't too crowded yet, and we had the rest of the evening to walk the strip and bask in the indulgence of SW. ”

I was traveling for a conference and felt a little underdressed in a t-shirt, long pants, and gym shoes. Even so, I was welcomed and seated right when they opened. For anyone visiting, wearing something smart casual like a polo or dress shirt would be a better fit for the setting. The atmosphere was upscale and elegant. There is an outdoor seating area near a small fountain that offers a nice view and adds to the overall experience. While reservations are recommended, arriving right at opening time worked well for us. This was a classic high-end steakhouse experience in Las Vegas. Great food, great service, and a great setting.
